Preparation of an "Affidavit of Net Worth"
In the State of New York, all parties to matrimonial proceedings are required to fill out a financial form known as an "Affidavit of Net Worth" a/k/a "Net Worth Statement". THIS IS A MANDATORY FORM. Preparation of this form cannot be waived by either party or the court. It must be submitted to the court ten (10) days prior to the first appearance before a judge for his review. During the process, you may be required to update your Net Worth Statement. We have placed a Net Worth Statement on this site so that you may provide the necessary information and send it to this firm. The form that you fill out is a draft which will be finalized in our office.
